Biography
Tamara Icardo produced one of the landmark results of 2026. Alongside partner Jensen she beat world No.1s Brea and Triay 3-6 6-1 6-1 in the Bordeaux P2 final in July — the first time the top pair had ever lost to them — to claim her first title since 2021 and Jensen's second on the circuit. The Valencia-born left-hander, 1.78m and 30 years old, pairs court intelligence with the ability to absorb pace and redirect it. A 28-14 season record has her at world No.10 on 5,331 points, with a career-high ranking of No.8.
