Biography
Claudia Fernández is 20 years old and already the face of the next era. She began 2026 alongside Sofia Araújo before a mid-season link-up with 18-year-old Martina Calvo that has changed the women's game. In Pretoria the young pair pushed world No.1s Brea and Triay to a deciding-set tiebreak in a P1 final; a week later at Olympia London they went one better, winning the first-ever London P1 7-5 6-3 over the same opponents. It was Fernández's first title of the season and the 13th of her career. A 1.64m right-sider with a career-high ranking of No.3, she sits world No.6 on 11,843 points.
