Biography

Leandro Augsburger is the newest member of padel's elite. The 22-year-old Argentine — a 1.90m left-hander — announced himself by winning Madrid P1 in 2025, and in 2026 he was handed the sport's most scrutinised job: partnering Juan Lebrón. The pair's Brussels P2 title in April, a comeback win over world No.1s Tapia and Coello from a set down, remains one of the results of the season, and they added a P1 final in Málaga in July. A 36-14 season record has carried Augsburger to a career-high world No.6 on 7,371 points, and at 22 he looks like the long-term future of the Argentine left wing.
