Biography
Agustín Tapia is Argentina's superstar and the co-holder, with Arturo Coello, of the world No.1 ranking. Known for extraordinary overhead shots — his bandeja is considered among the best on the circuit — Tapia is a fan favourite wherever he plays. In 2026 the Tapia/Coello partnership has claimed eight titles, including the Italy Major in Rome and the first-ever London P1, recovering from a run of four straight final defeats in the spring to win six consecutive finals since Rome. The rivalry with Galán and Chingotto — ten finals between the two pairs this season — is the axis around which the men's tour now turns.
