Valladolid P2 2026

The rivalry rolled into Castile and the script held. Tapia and Coello beat Galán and Chingotto for a third straight final, 6-4 6-3, tightening their grip on a head-to-head that had already produced eight finals by midsummer. González and Josemaría answered their Valencia defeat by beating Sánchez and Ustero 6-4 6-2 for a sixth title of the season — the most prolific women's campaign on tour through August. Valladolid, a P2 with a Major-grade cast, showed why Spain can host this tour in any city it likes.

Arena Profile

Valladolid sits in the Castilian heartland, where padel courts are as much a part of town life as the plaza. Spain's inland cities have become reliable hosts for the tour — deep local playing bases, indoor arenas built for winter sport, and crowds that know a bandeja from a víbora. The venue for future editions is TBC; the padel literacy of the audience is not.
