Valencia P1 2026

New to the 2026 calendar, Valencia was handed an instant classic. Tapia and Coello and Galán and Chingotto played their second final in eight days and took it to the very edge — the No.1s surviving 6-7 6-1 7-6 in a match decided by a handful of points. In the women's draw, Sánchez and Ustero beat González and Josemaría 6-4 3-6 6-2, a second title of the season for the pairing and a second of the year for 19-year-old Ustero. A debut event could hardly have asked for more.

Arena Profile

Valencia joined the Premier Padel map in 2026 and arrived with credentials — a Mediterranean sporting city in the country where padel is a way of life, and the home town of tour winner Tamara Icardo. Venue details for future editions are TBC. On the evidence of a debut that produced two three-set finals, Valencia will not be a one-year experiment.
