Italy Major 2026

With the Qatar Major postponed, Rome staged the first Major of 2026 — and it reset the men's season. Four final defeats in a row behind them, Tapia and Coello beat Galán and Chingotto 7-5 7-6 in a final of brutal fine margins, the start of a six-final winning streak that carried them through the summer. Brea and Triay took the women's crown, beating Sánchez and Ustero 6-1 7-5 for the biggest title of their season to that point. The eternal city delivered a Major worthy of the name.

Arena Profile

Italy has fallen for padel harder than almost anywhere in Europe, and Rome in June — warm nights, a Major on the line, a crowd that treats sport as theatre — is the tour at full volume. The venue for future editions is yet to be confirmed, but Italian padel's momentum, on court and in the stands, is one of the sport's great growth stories.
