Pretoria P1 2026

Upgraded from P2 to P1 for 2026, Pretoria repaid the promotion with two deciding-set-tiebreak finals. Galán and Chingotto survived Guerrero and Leal 6-2 5-7 7-6 for their sixth men's title of the season. The women's final was a glimpse of the future: Fernández and Calvo pushed the world No.1s all the way before Brea and Triay escaped 6-2 6-7 7-6. One week later, the young pair would finish the job in London. South Africa's first taste of P1 padel could not have been scripted better.

Arena Profile

Pretoria carried Premier Padel's flag into the southern hemisphere winter, one of the tour's genuinely new frontiers alongside London and Valencia in 2026. South African crowds arrived curious and left converted — two finals decided in final-set tiebreaks will do that. The venue for future editions is TBC, but the tour's 18-country footprint looks stronger for having Pretoria in it.
