Málaga P1 2026

Málaga gave the women's season its heavyweight moment. Brea and Triay finally beat González and Josemaría in a 2026 final — 7-5 3-6 7-6, settled in a deciding-set tiebreak — closing the gap in a finals head-to-head their rivals had dominated all spring. In the men's draw, Tapia and Coello were merciless, beating Lebrón and Augsburger 6-2 6-2 for a fifth straight final win as their summer turned into a procession. On the Costa del Sol, in front of a Spanish crowd, the tour got its two best storylines in one weekend.

Arena Profile

The Costa del Sol lives outdoors, and Málaga's sporting summer made a natural home for a P1 in mid-July. Andalusia is one of Spanish padel's great production lines, and the region's crowds bring holiday energy backed by real knowledge of the game. Venue confirmation for future editions is TBC; Málaga's case as a fixture on the summer swing makes itself.
