Bordeaux P2 2026

Bordeaux belonged to the underdogs. Icardo and Jensen, a set down to the world No.1s, ran away with the women's final 3-6 6-1 6-1 — their first-ever win over Brea and Triay, Jensen's second circuit title and Icardo's first since 2021. It was the feel-good result of the summer. The men's final was vintage 2026: Tapia and Coello over Galán and Chingotto again, 5-7 7-6 6-2, a fourth straight final win in the rivalry as the No.1s' summer surge gathered pace.

French padel is booming, and Bordeaux — wine country's capital, with a sporting public that shows up for everything — has become the tour's summer gateway to France. A P2 date at the turn of July gives the city a festival feel around the courts. Venue details for future editions are TBC, but France's growth curve suggests Bordeaux is here to stay.
